This lap quilt features half hexagons in soft pastel lavender, pink, green, yellow, and blue, alternating with white. The tone-on-tone prints read as solids from a distance, and the staggered blocks form whimsical shapes that loosely resemble little ducks. A purple tone-on-tone border frames the design. Machine pieced and longarm quilted with a butterfly pantograph pattern that adds swirling texture across the surface, then backed with a purple Tinker Bell print. A cheerful lap quilt for cozy afternoons on the couch or a bright accent in a reading corner.
